Creeking is in and with the TOPO being the forerunner of all creek boats,
the NEW TOPO has
everything a modern creek boat needs: an extremely short and brawny shape and a new type
of hull design.
There is no
denying the NEW TOPO's
origin: its deck design follows that of its ancestor, just a few edges make the NEW TOPO look younger and
more aggressive.
The bottom design however, is the tried and tested construction used on the SALTO
and makes the NEW TOPO
faster.
Smaller
paddlers will like the cockpit rim which is lower than on the original TOPO. This way freedom
of movement is improved, especially at the back.
The NEW TOPO is the
first choice for all those who think the Salto
offers too much volume for them, hence a creekboat designed for the smaller and lighter
paddler.
In every other respect, the NEW
TOPO is what the TOPO
always has been: a safe and solid kayak to go playing and creeking with! Just unique!
The original TOPO was designed more
than 20 years ago when 4-meter kayaks were the norm. Back then it started a trend which
others were reluctant to follow up until only a few years ago. Eskimo's Topo was leading
the way decades ago! |
